Frequently asked questions

Why pay for this when I can just ask AI?

Fair question, and AI is handy for a quick one-off answer. But running a garden all season is a different job. The app works out in the garden with no reception, where AI has no signal. It remembers your patch: your beds, what you planted and when, what you picked, even your chickens and your compost. AI starts from scratch every time, so you would be re-typing your whole garden into every chat. The calendar is built from real data for your exact region, not generic advice that ignores your local climate, and it gives you the same reliable answer every time instead of sounding sure while quietly getting it wrong. It also does the work, not just the talking: it plans your beds at real scale, works out how much to grow, and tells you what needs doing today. AI is a clever helper for one question. The app is your garden’s memory and daily manager, all season, even with no signal.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. The planting calendar for your region, one garden bed, the core plant set and the growing guides are free forever, no card required.

What does a paid plan add?

Unlimited beds, the full plant library, Plant Doctor, Seed Inventory, the Harvest Dashboard, print and PDF export, the homestead trackers, and cloud sync across your devices. Every future feature and US region is included.

Is Lifetime really one payment?

Yes. Pay once and you keep every paid feature, plus all future regions and updates, with no recurring charge. The founders price is $129, rising to $159 later.

Can I cancel?

The monthly and yearly plans cancel any time from your account, no questions asked. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Which regions are covered?

18 US regions are live now, from Alaska and Hawaii to the Northeast, Texas, the Gulf South, Florida and everywhere in between. Your membership includes every region.

Why does the US need its own garden planner?

The problem with overseas apps

Many garden apps are UK-based, with growing guides written for temperate climates. They run a winter-to-summer year that assumes a cold dormant season and a single summer growing peak.

That logic falls apart across the US, where every region has its own climate challenges, from Florida's summer humidity to Alaska's short growing season.

What we do differently

Every planting calendar was written here, for each of 18 US regions. The timing reflects how gardens actually grow where you live.
